The title says it all. It's been almost two months since my last entry, and many things have happened, some good, some bad. First of all, I am now unemployed, but I am still in contact with a company that contacted me a few weeks ago trying to get me employed somewhere. Talking about "leasing" workers. It's an abusive field in Germany, but it's better than nothing. Or so I thought.
Don't get me wrong. I need work. But I won't travel way over 2 hours to work 8 hours inside a large hall surrounded by people who do not speak my language only to then travel back home for another 2 hours at the end of the day. I don't have any problems with immigrants; they were friendlier than my old German work colleagues! But that doesn't make it better when the wage you get is not even enough to pay rent. Luckily, I still live with my parents, but even they expect me to pay for things, understandably so. But I wouldn't be able to progress in my life this way because the last job I attempted to do was beyond what I was physically capable of. I'd get fired before I could adapt.
That being said, I have another appointment tomorrow with the people who got me employed there, so we can find an alternative because I need it quickly. I am running out of money, so I have only a few weeks left until things get complicated. Of course, this wouldn't be a problem if I could at least receive something for being unemployed, but that isn't the case because I need some documents that I cannot acquire due to some (and I say this in all honesty) idiots being too stupid to fucking send them to me.
There is an alternative way I can start next year: a shortened apprenticeship, which requires an "educational ticket" that I can already get! So, even if I can't find work now, there is light at the end of the tunnel beginning next year. If only I had enough money left to make it 'til then...
